Hello!
My name is Bethany Renee. I am a performer, stage manager, and technician currently based out of Central Florida. I, like so many others, discovered a love of live theatre in high school. Once I did, I couldn't imagine spending my life doing anything else.
My Story
I received a BFA in Theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2023. I have been trained in all aspects of a theatrical production, from dance and stage combat to stage management and lighting principles. I have often felt pressure to choose between performer and technician, but I have had success in both by not putting myself solely in either box. I love both. I am capable of both. Being both has given me the ability to understand more perspectives, connect with more people, and create theatre in more spaces.
Outside of work, I enjoy books, podcasts, embroidery, and adventures big or small with my husband: playwright and fellow theatre artist, Ian Brett Gadapee.
